Regular Talks

Regular talks will have a maximum duration of 20 minutes, plus a maximum of 5 minutes for questions from the audience. We accept applications for talks in English, Portuguese and Spanish. Regular talks will be held the first 3 days of the Fair and we estimate 10 to 15 spaces available.
The Committee will evaluate the applications, according to the originality and innovation of the theme to be presented, and will also consider the nationality of the applicants in an equitable manner among the countries. The talks that are considered to be of most interest to the South American birding community will be selected.
We recommend optimizing the use of time to fairly expose all the elements of the talk. In addition, we suggest using audiovisual material, subtitled in English when the talk is in Spanish or Portuguese, or in one of these languages when the talk is in English.
In order to evaluate the relevance of the talks for the XIII South American Bird Fair it will be necessary to send a summary to our e-mail info@birdfair.net. In the ‘subject’ of the email you must indicate ‘Talk Application’.
