Environment and description: The routes to Loreto, 80 km away, alternate between many hills with forests, lagoons, and pastures, with wetlands in the low-lying areas. The arrival route will be a paradise of species up to the great hill of Yatevú, where the town of Loreto is located, one of the favorite destinations for birdwatchers. We will stop for breakfast at the Iberá Birding Lodge feeders and continue until we complete all possible species.
Then we will head to one of the most recent entrances to the Iberá Park, to the port of San Antonio crossing pastures and wetlands. From there, we will enter the estuary (options of boat or kayak) through the journey that connects the Carambola Stream and cross to one of its islands where we can make a stop at its beaches. Kayak tours allow very close and silent contact with birds and other animals.

Not recommended for those doing the post-tour to Iguazú because they will also make a stop here.

Environment and description: Bordering the Iberá Park, we will take Route 12 which borders the Paraná River towards one of the most interesting locations for birdwatching: San Cosme. It is a rural and natural area, where conditions have been given to be a strategic enclave for birdwatchers. There, the Chaco forests converge with the Atlantic forest bordering the Paraná River, plus some patches of grassland, and the contribution of rural allochthonous plants that enrich the local flora. The result: A set of species that is difficult to find elsewhere.
